Tony Hawk 5 patch is bigger than game
The 3D skateboarding sim, the latest in a successful franchise, installs at a mere 4.6GB, but then a 7.7GB patch is needed. It hasn’t enjoyed the most comfortable journey from announcement to release, with many sceptical over the quality of the final product. Well, we can’t know it for sure, but it looks like the patch ultimately introduces the online functionalities in this game. If you digitally pre-ordered the game, you may pre-load it now.

The weird thing is though that it has a day one patch that is actually bigger than the game itself, at 7.7GB. We’ve never played it but there’s no denying that the game looks worryingly like a PlayStation 2 title.

Pro Skater 5’s total file size doesn’t come close to other graphically intensive current-generation games, such as 2013’s Killzone: Shadow Fall, which came in at just under 40GB. It’s available on PlayStation 4 and 3, and Xbox One and 360.
