Tony Romo and the Cowboys to creep into the playoffs?

We have to find a way.

The Dolphins (4-6) are likely to miss the playoffs for the seventh year in a row.

He nonetheless obliged for a quick on-camera interview to air on NFL Network – two brief questions to discuss both the game that was now an hour behind him and the one that was only four days ahead of him.

Miami has managed to score more than 20 points only twice all season, and the point totals the past four weeks have been 7, 17, 20 and 14. “I thought you saw him do that at his best”.

“However it goes, somebody has got to pull the slack”.

The Great Wall of Dallas will face another tough assignment in the undefeated Carolina Panthers front seven on Thanksgiving Day and they must do a better job of slowing the pass rush if the Cowboys are going to keep their postseason dreams alive. “Here’s the deal – we got healthier here today”.

Dolphins need a surge just to finish at.

The Carolina Panthers (10-0) are looking invincible at the moment, but they are in for a fight as the team travels to the AT&T Stadium on November 26, Thursday for a Week 12 meeting with the Dallas Cowboys (3-7), who now have their two premier offensive players, Tony Romo and Dez Bryant, back together again after a recent bout with injuries. On Sunday, he hit Jarvis Landry with a perfectly lofted 47-yard pass that led to a second-quarter touchdown. Joe Philbin is no longer coaching the team, but it has not made much of an impact on their season because they are still not a competitive team, and the Cowboys proved that yesterday.

“It’s still out there for us”, Campbell said.

“That was a very positive note for me to take away from the game”, Darr said. Other than that, three times, Miami punted without gaining another first down (Sims holding, Pouncey chop/Cameron false start on the same drive, and Fox holding) and Tannehill’s interception came after the first hold call on Fox.

“Sometimes it is protection – sometimes it’s the quarterback being too deep or where he’s sitting”, Campbell said. That’s a defining play right there. We are good when we do it right.

Even though the game was filled with players defensively who stepped up to the challenge, their efforts were in vain because of the loss.

“Him being back just gives everybody that much more juice”, Bryant said. “At a few point when you look at where your defense is at you feel like you have to start getting chunks or explosive passes”.

“Everybody felt it. We needed Tony’s kind of plays”.

San Diego Chargers wide receiver Javontee Herndon (Razorbacks) caught five passes for 37 yards in a 33-3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Texans (5-5) claimed their third consecutive win by challenging the Jets’ stout run defense with surprising personnel packages, including deploying the Wildcat with running back Jonathan Grimes and receiver Cecil Shorts III taking snaps.

“When Lamar touches the ball he’s been pretty productive for us”, Campbell said.

The game matched a pair of last-place teams and looked it at times.

Miami still has a chance even if it’s slim. The same with coach Garrett. Defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh gave a passionate speech.

Just as important, he put the defense in a more confident position to play more aggressively, given the burden wasn’t all on that side of the ball. We needed Tony and the threat of Tony back there to get that running game going.

Defensively, the Cowboys received big plays when they needed them, stopping Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins every time they needed a big stop.
