“You can hear something happen, you’re just disappointed, frustrated”, said Romo, describing the injury as similar to what he felt when he broke his collarbone in Week 2 against Philadelphia before missing seven games – all losses.
The Panthers are 11-0 after a 33-14 victory in their Thanksgiving debut, and the Cowboys could be facing another long stretch without Romo in what has become a lost season for the defending NFC East champions.
Kuechly intercepted two straight passes by Romo, returning the first 32 yards for a touchdown.
Newton capped the drive with his 4-yard touchdown run with 18 seconds left in the quarter, putting the Panthers ahead 30-6. He was already having a rough game, going 11 of 21 with 106 yards with a 27.2 passer rating.

-WR Jerricho Cotchery was the most dynamic player for the Carolina offense, with the possible exception of Newton. Kurt just made a great cutback and was able to put it in the end zone. Cowboys DE Greg Hardy failed to record a tackle in his first game against the team that drafted him.

Without Romo, Dallas will be starting Matt Cassel at quarterback while hoping to play respectable football. He missed the last 15 games past year with Carolina because of his domestic violence case. Cotchery had his best game of the season with five catches for 73 yards.
