Tony Who? Prescott Pushing Romo Into Background in Dallas
Ezekiel Elliott ran for 92 yards and two touchdowns and Alfred Morris added 56 yards in mop up time to give Dallas a total of 168 rushing yards in the game. Jason Witten led all receivers with eight catches for 134 yards and one touchdown. The team is so pathetic it’s not even fair making fun of them through memes, but they did lose to the Dallas Cowboys, which makes them the center of attention, sort of.

Dak Prescott’s 10 touchdown passes are the most by a Cowboys rookie quarterback.
That day looks as far off as ever. This is actually a little harder to prove, because the National Football League has become largely mediocre across the board outside the Cowboys, Patriots, and the AFC West, but both the Bengals and the Packers were seen as good teams when they faced the Cowboys.
Prescott improved to 7-1 as a starter, and his latest performance has pushed Romo deeper into the background of what is developing into a special season for the Cowboys.
However, the way Prescott is playing, the 36-year-old Romo doesn’t look as if he’ll be back on the field anytime soon.
What would Jerry Jones have said if you told him two months ago that his team would be 7-1 halfway through the season? “We’ve got some real talent at our quarterback position”.
“We did not play good enough”, Jackson said after the game with the Cowboys, as he says every week. “I wanted to say some things because they didn’t call a holding penalty, but Dak was like, ‘Let’s just get it right”.
Romo practiced in a limited capacity last week and Jones expects the veteran’s workload to increase this week.
The Cowboys have a two-game lead in the NFC East.
“All I know is I love what we’ve got going on right now”, Bryant said. We don’t need him getting emotional. He broke a few more of Troy Aikman’s rookie passing records and showed uncanny poise for a player with only eight games under his belt. The other was a bullet from Prescott just outside the red zone, a 26-yard TD to tight end Jason Witten that started the romp. “We take the positives we can find and build on those and make that something we can rally on”. When he makes mistakes, he takes ownership.
Unlike last week, when sloppy footwork and the Eagles’ pass rush caused him to be inaccurate, Prescott stood confidently in the pocket Sunday surveying the field and going through his progressions until finding a worthy target. It was also his first 100-yard receiving game since December 29, 2013.
Nick Foles threw for 187 yards and a first-half touchdown toss to Albert Wilson, and helped to set up four field goals by Cairo Santos, as Kansas City (6-2) won its 10th consecutive home game.
“Me and Tony have a great relationship”, Prescott said in his postgame press conference. We had some big plays on the first drive, which was obviously good and kind of settled me down and the offense down a little bit. It is a top-down deal. They punted twice, and their final drive ended when they took a knee to end the game; that drive lasted 13 plays and almost eight minutes. It is not just defense.
With a more hard test upcoming next week as the team travels to the Pittsburgh Steelers, this team – and this season – is starting to feel more special by the week.

“Our players are professionals, and they understand when they come in this building we come in here to work each and every day”. That’s probably the last question I will probably take on any of our staff members about their job.
