Top 10 Fantasy football injuries with impact in Week 3
His new book, “Fantasy Man”, describes his post-career interest in fantasy football through the eyes of an ex-player.

“If Adrian Peterson misses time, I expect a 65/35 split of carries between Jerick McKinnon and Matt Asiata, with Asiata as the goal-line guy”, Vensel tweeted Monday. Each of these injuries is a shame, yet each presents an opportunity for us fantasy enthusiasts. Even though he’s behind Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker on the depth chart Enunwa is worth a look. It’s true that Osweiler is averaging a mediocre 249 passing yards per game, but when he does throw the ball, it’s going to Fuller and Hopkins. But in the meantime, there might be some time to get ridiculous fantasy points from Gabbert! Coleman had over 100 yards and two touchdowns, but quarterback Josh McCown got injured. The Falcons quarterback has been the target of fantasy derision for years but through two games, he’s the highest scorer at the position. and he gets to face the woeful Saints defense. Plenty of high-profile quarterbacks (Russell Wilson, Eli Manning, Drew Brees, Matthew Stafford) struggled to scores points, while players like Matt Ryan (whom we’ve kind of written off after a turnover-plagued 2015) and Philip Rivers (once again missing Keenan Allen) went off. There is no timetable for his return at this point, just like there’s no timetable for the return of Pierson’s sanity (just kidding, John). Asiata filled in admirably during Peterson’s 2014 suspension, combining for 882 yards and 10 touchdowns in 15 games, but it’s McKinnon who will get the start Sunday against the Panthers.
Mike Wallace- Wallace is only owned in 63% of leagues (on ESPN).
While the Vikings have not ruled Peterson out, it seems unlikely that Peterson would not miss time with the injury.
Moving on to running backs now. Fozzy (bear) Whittaker Had a great game replacing Stewart and is a solid pick up to ride while he’s down.
Whittaker is available in most leagues but, while decent against the 49ers, is not a three down back and will likely be sharing snaps with Cameron Artis-Payne against a very, very good Vikings defence. Pounce on Whittaker and count on Cam Newton to see an uptick in rushing attempts for the near-future. The extent of Foster’s injury isn’t yet known, but Coach Adam Gase said Sunday that the team’s medical staff knew it was serious right away. You saw what Travis Benjamin and Tyrell Williams did to the Jaguars secondary, right? The immensely talented back is as fragile as a flower, and while he is sidelined with a groin injury, rookie Kenyan Drake immediately receives third-down duties and pass-catching responsibility. Asiata will get the goal line touches, but is a touchdown or bust play. Maybe Jay Ajayi was a better play for the expectation he will garner a majority of carries over rookie Kenyan Drake.
Sims hasn’t dominated in very, very limited work early in the season, but has caught six passes through two games. Washington is owned in 0.3% of leagues.
So you think you’re ideal, eh?
New York Jets WR Quincy Enuwa: He may be the 3rd WR on the Jets but his production is actually a WR3 fantasy wise. Yet with the Jets utilizing three-receiver sets frequently, expect Enunwa to have a relatively strong floor. Yet Jackson has taken the plunge into the world of fantasy football now that he has hung up the cleats for a few years, and he describes the hobby as “brutal” as well as “the best adrenaline rush ever”. He did return to the game in the fourth quarter, and caught a deep 53-yard pass.

Charles Sims vs. Los Angeles RamsDoug Martin will sit this one out with a hamstring injury. The Texans WR duo seems like a go-ahead tandem almost every week going forward, though I expect Braxton Miller (who is out this week) or Jaelen Strong to vulture the occasional TD. He leads the Redskins in targets and is tied for the second most red-zone targets in the league as of Sunday.
