The letter says that Trump takes a statin, a drug for lowering cholesterol, and has a body mass index in the overweight range. Trump was hospitalized “only once, as a child of 11 years for an appendectomy”. Bornstein also notes that Trump’s parents, Fred and Mary, lived into their late 80s and 90s, and that there is no family history of premature cardiac or neoplastic disease.
The visit to Flint, where most residents are African-American, comes as Trump has increased his outreach to minorities. Later on Thursday, Mr Trump was to be the guest of Dr Mehmet Oz on his syndicated medical chat show.
Trump said Thursday morning that he would not have released his medical records if his lab tests were deficient.
Oz told Dr. Sanjay Gupta of CNN that he was uncertain whether or not Trump would share his records. He was in good health overall.
Still, neither release appears to have done much to ease concerns about transparency in the Trump campaign.
Trump, at 70, would be the oldest person to ever ascend to the presidency. He said that when he’s with the 39-year-old Brady, “I feel I’m the same age as him”.
Trump avoided saying whether he thinks undocumented immigrants should receive emergency care by saying he didn’t think they should be in the country. And Bloomberg’s health and science reporter Michelle Cortez tweeted: “The Dr. Oz show edited out Trump’s comments on kissing daughter Ivanka as often as possible”.

Whether the results of Trump’s physical would be released, or discussed on the show, at all was an open question until reports of what went on at the taping started trickling out from audience members.
