Top Dawg Reveals 2016 Releases for TDE Roster
Whether or not Tiffith and TDE will be able to deliver on this whiteboard promise remains to be seen, but history and the quality of the label’s releases should give fans much to be excited about – even if they don’t get to hear all the foreshadowed records this year.

Less than a month after sweeping the hip-hop categories at the Grammys, Kendrick Lamar may already be prepping a follow-up to his masterpiece “To Pimp a Butterfly”.
While Top Dawg Entertainment only had two album releases in 2015, 2016 looks to be like a big year for the California record label which is home to rappers such as Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q. Jay Rock has a nice little “ER” next to his name to signify that he is still in the hospital from his recent motorcycle crash. Kendrick rounds out the bottom of the list with three question marks next to his name. Yesterday, the label head shared a photo of the status of each artists’ current project, adding “I told y’all I got y’all in 2016”.
Earlier today (Mar. 1), the CEO of TDE Anthony Tiffith posted a picture of himself to Instagram with the caption, “Just 2 show niggas I’m not playing”.
Arguably most exciting of all comes under the category “2017 Possible Release”. After Schoolboy Q’s album releases, singer SZA is next in line.
