That’s no longer the case.
In a loaded defensive end crop in the class of 2016, Rashard Lawrence is right near the top of the list.
Lawrence’s decision came down to Ohio State and LSU. The Neville High star is a 6-foot-3, 305-pound mountain of athleticism and determination, and on Friday he finally ended suspense about where he would play his collegiate football.
The Tigers are also still making a push for Florida State commit Jamel Cook, a four-star safety, and four-star Florida cornerback Trayvon Mullen.
12-ranked prospect in the Class of 2016, is staying in his home state for college. They join returning LSU’s returning defensive linemen in defensive end Lewis Neal and defensive tackle Christian LaCouture.

He made an official visit to LSU last weekend after visiting Ohio State on October 17 during the Buckeyes’ blow-out win over Penn State. As if Miles has not had enough good news two weeks ahead of National Signing Day, four-star defensive tackle Glen Logan appears to have all but affirmed his commitment to LSU.
