As such, Google’s Year in Search is perhaps the most reliable litmus test for the zeitgeist than any other year-end roundup we have; certainly more so than Facebook’s or Twitter’s. Numerous topics span many locations, with the rest being cards for more localized events, such as the floods in Chennai for India and the new Prime Minister for Australia. The most searched people in 2015 in the United States were Odom, Caitlyn Jenner, Ronda Rousey, Donald Trump, and Ruby Rose.
