After launching a larger iPhone 5 Plus previous year that mimicked phablets like the Lumia 1520, Apple has taken another page from Microsoft’s playbook with the Apple iPad Pro-which now includes a Surface-like keyboard and stylus. [The] iPad Pro is great for creative workflows with a high res 12.9-inch touch screen display at 2732 x 2048 pixels, A9X chip, and 4GB of RAM. But guess what? The company is now offering a stylus, called Apple Pencil, for $100. And since the office is the target, and Apple won’t be deterred in making the iPad Pro the top pick for it, instead of showing off its iWork apps, the company gave the stage to Microsoft.

It was the Surface RT, Microsoft’s first attempt at the tablet market, and although it proved to be a big flop, Microsoft decided to continue investing money in the Surface lineup, so now we have much more advanced models with powerful hardware, digital pens, and Windows 10. The iPad Pro got an audio upgrade, as well; the model now packs in four speakers.

Apple also announced a new version of the Apple TV with a bunch of improvements. It looks nice, it is an Apple product afterall, and makes the tablet appeal more to the business user which it is clearly aimed at.

Random access memory is important for a device like the iPad Pro. At 12.9 inches diagonal, the iPad Pro is also significantly larger than that first diminutive iPhone that Jobs thought would work so poorly with a stylus.

Apple launched “Move to iOS” app for Android users. According to a report in the Economic Times, “The U.S. technology giant in a closed-door meeting with its key trade partners on Wednesday indicated its intention to advance the launch of Apple Watch and triple sales of the new iPhones during the crucial October-December period”.

The announcement was made alongside the two new iPhone models, the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.

Pricing for the iPad Pro starts at $799 and goes up to a whopping $1079 – plus the Pencil costs $99 and the keyboard $169. You have to get them, and put them away and you lose them – yuck!
