Top secret data on new Indian Navy Submarines leaked Reports
The statement of the Navy came after the Scorpene submarines builder DCNS in its reaction implied that the sensitive data leak might have happened at India’s end, rather than from France.

Top secret data on new Indian Navy Submarines leaked Reports: The secret of new Scorpene – class submarines of India which is designed by French shipbuilder DCNS for the Indian Navy have been leaked, as per a report.
Australian media reported a leak of 22,400 pages that enumerate the submarines designed by DCNS for the Indian Navy.
In a statement, the Navy said, the available information is being examined at Integrated Headquarters and an analysis is being carried out by the concerned specialists.
‘I understand there has been a case of hacking, ‘ Indian Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar told reporters.
“There is India, Australia and other prospects, and other countries could raise legitimate questions over DCNS and its part of the tools in economic war”, she said.
Bilkulonline.com, New Delhi, Aug 24: French company DCNS, which suffered a data leak including documents related to India’s Scorpene submarines, said on Wednesday that the matter will be investigated by “proper French authorities”.
DCNS, whose two-third is owned by the French government, will be designing 12 new submarines for Australia; deal is worth 50 bn United States dollars, and the leak might compromise the security of classified data on the submarines, as per the report.
It aims to design for the Indian navy, and deviant of which are used by Malaysia and Chile. Brazil is also due to deploy the vessels in 2018.
The documents detail the stealth submarines’ sensors, torpedo launch systems, as well as communications and navigation capabilities.

“It was subsequently passed by a third party to a second company in the region before being sent on a data disk by regular mail to a company in Australia”.
But Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull sought to play down the impact in Canberra saying while the leak was “of concern”, the Scorpene was a different model to the subs Australia is buying.
“It is a completely different submarine to the one they are building for India”.

The massive data leak of more than 22,000 classified pages has hit the French shipbuilder DCNS, thereby affecting a major submarine contract for the Indian navy. Notably, Australia too has a $38 billion submarine project contract with DCNS.
