Torino Get Joe Hart’s Name Wrong On Teamsheet Ahead Of Debut Appearance

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, who is now out on loan with Italian side Torino, will be allowed to leave the Etihad stadium on a permanent basis next season with Pep Guardiola willing to dispose of the stalwart.

Hart joined Torino in a season-long loan deal following Pep Guardiola’s arrival at Manchester City over the summer and his new boss Sinisa Mihaijlovic has put him straight into the team for Sunday’s away match.

“I had good feedback from him so I’m not surprised”, Mihaijlovic said, per the Mirror.

Fans brought some of Turin’s city centre streets to a standstill as they congregated in front of Torino’s headquarters the day Hart arrived for his medical and to sign on for the Serie A club. “They are also willing to bankroll half his present wages for 12 months and revisit the severance situation next summer”.

On his return from national duty with England at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Hart was named as the first choice goalkeeper by then City manager Roberto Mancini.

The England worldwide was deemed surplus to requirements by Pep Guardiola, who was even willing to start Willy Caballero ahead of Hart before signing his ideal goalkeeper. A minor blunder – admittedly a humorous one – on Hart’s debut. As City started courting Claudio Bravo from Barcelona to replace Hart, he started looking out for new avenues. Nonetheless, at 29 he has a lot of years left in him at the top.
