Toronto councillor tweet-duels with rapper

It might seem that Nicki Minaj is on Cloud-9 these days, considering she’s all in love with Meek Mill. But to be fair, neither can we.

With all the accusations and rumors surrounding Drake this week, his OVO Sound radio show on Apple’s Beats 1 service became a must-listen for all hip-hop fans on Saturday (July 25).

We’re sure folks will be lurking on everyone’s timelines for the rest of the evening.

The video comes on the heels of a headline-making performance at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, where both Mill and Minaj took jabs at Drake after the former publicly accused the latter of not writing his own lyrics. He told the crowd that Minaj was the greatest rapper right now, which she turned back on him.

He adds, “I am not and never will be a “ghostwriter” for drake…”

Oddly, Mill actually directed the apology at Minaj, who joined him on stage during his set.

“Baby lotion soft… I can tell he wrote that [one] tho”

.

The feud began when Minaj tweeted and complained about the lack of MTV Award nominations for her “Anaconda” music video, alluding to racial discrimination even if feminism is already being embraced by the music industry.

“This nigga SB was twerking mannnnnnnn…i always thought u was gay letting Ya girl do all that shit with niggas while yall where together!” he says in another post. Now the OG record spinner says he has additional reference tracks written by Drizzy’s alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller.

Of course, the politician must have been joking as Meek Mill’s Drake diss won’t legally bar him from entering Canada or the city of Toronto.

“Trust me this information is vital, I’m trying to take the high road”. “Ni***s snitching on us without no interrogation/ I stay silent ’cause we at war and I’m very patient/ Six God is watching, I just hope you’re prepared to face him/ I’m charged up, i’m charged up”.
