Toronto firm 6S doesn’t want to share name with new iPhone
Apple has always been careful about implementing new features into its ultra-simple camera app. Even though now it can capture photos in HDR, or film in 240fps ultra-slow motion, manual controls are left to downloads from the App Store. It was previously rumored that the iPhone 6s will be capable of recording videos in 4K resolution.

Until we get to finally take a look at the device on its launch less than a week from now, the iPhone 6s from Apple won’t stop surfacing in the proverbial rumor/leak mill it seems.
Besides the 12MP camera upgrade in the back we heard about earlier, Apple is also supposed to upgrade the front-facing camera.
The invitation to Apple’s September 9 event was sent with the language, “Hey Siri, give us a hint”.
We might see an iPhone 6S with a 5-megapixel front-facing FaceTime camera at Apple’s upcoming annual Fall iPhone event, according to 9to5Mac, which obtained a report from the reliable analysts at KGI Securities. Apple TV, iPhone, iPad and Mac users could watch the live stream of the event. A new report from Variety indicates that Apple itself may also be looking into producing original content. That market share data comes based on a three-month average for the period ended in July 2015, said comScore, and represents a gain of 1.1 percentage points over the previous three-month average.
iPhone 7 would be preferrable to iPhone 6s for one marketing company in New York. The thickness of the handset appears to jump from the iPhone 6’s 6.9mm to 7.08mm, confirming rumours that the new iPhone will measure around 0.2mm more in each direction.
The 6s and 6s Plus are also fractionally taller and wider than the current phones, according to the same report. The thicker case is likely due to new aluminum used for the shell and thickening to help stop the bending problem some people have had with the iPhone 6. For the iPhone 6 it would shave half a day off the standby time, and nearly a day off the standby times for the iPhone 6 Plus.

On contract, the iPhone 6s will be $200, $300 and $400 respectively, but since most of the major US carriers have signaled the death knell for two-year contracts, most customers will be paying $650, $750 and $850 upfront for the 16GB, 64GB and 128GB iPhones 6s. With the power efficiency, big improvements could be realized in battery life.
