Despite clear comparisons, and its inevitable competition, with the Surface Pro 4, Microsoft has declared its support for the dynaPad.
The Surface Pro 4 has been unveiled and it seems Microsoft’s partners are proving its success by all attempting to make similar devices. Using the display ll become a lot more easy and fun due to the Wacom Active Electrostatics TruPen that comes with the new DynaPad. The stylus is compatible with Microsoft’s Edge browser as well as the Office suite of apps. In addition, the device includes a dual-layer anti-reflection and anti-fingerprint coating that maintains the screen’s sensitivity in bright environments and enables users to easily clean fingerprints. The Japanese company’s new DynaPad – a Windows 10 2-in-1 officially announced today after a prototype appeared at IFA 2015 last month – joins a market flooded with tablet-sized touchscreen devices. Fold the keyboard in and it’s still light at a total weight of 996 grams, with a combined thickness of 14.9 millimeters. It features an ultra-thin keyboard dock for a fluid typing experience and a high-precision pen which replicates the natural feeling of writing or drawing with a pen on paper. Although we already think that Toshiba’s new DynaPad is a great device, we are eager to see its complete spec sheet and its price tag. “The TruPen neatly clips on to the side of the tablet”. And it works equally as well with users who are right handed or left handed.
The tablet comes with updated versions of Toshiba-exclusive business applications that let users to collect, organize and share notes, images and files.
The tablet will hit retail in Europe and the United States in the first quarter of 2016, but customers residing in Japan can pre-order it starting today with the availability slated for December.
