Tottenham draws 1-1 with Liverpool in Premier League
The big clash in the Premier League this weekend is undoubtedly Saturday’s early kick-off between Tottenham and Liverpool at White Hart Lane.

Spurs have started the season in a solid manner, gaining four points from their opening two games but Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen have yet to get going.
Both Tottenham and Liverpool have been tipped to challenge for the top four this season, but Spurs aren’t yet showing the kind of form that nearly took them to the title last season.
As for Liverpool we’ve seen their Jekyll and Hyde persona at its finest.
Pochettino’s side and Liverpool under Klopp have drawn many comparisons for their respective pressing games, but the Argentinian does not see them as the same tactics. This comes after winning a high-scoring affair against Arsenal on the opening weekend of the season.
The team in red continued to enjoy the upper hand in the second half, with Matip heading over, Nathaniel Clyne working Vorm and Mane seeing a volley chalked off for offside against Adam Lallana. We conceded five, but they put four past Arsenal last week.
Rose’s strike after 72 minutes set up a potential grandstand finish, but neither side could capitalise as Liverpool shut up shop towards the end.
“We know what he is like after playing against Southampton last season”, he said.
“You can’t (be fully ready) even when you have a lot of pre-season games – pre-season games are different to Premier League games”.
The scoreline did not reflect their superiority, however, as goals from Sam Vokes and Andre Gray secured a 2-0 victory for the home team.
Liverpool have yet to play at Anfield this term, with developments being made to the stadium, but Saturday’s trip to White Hart Lane is the last before they return home following the worldwide break. “Fortunately I have played in the Premier League long enough to have enough experience”.
With Philippe Coutinho certain to return, Klopp is juggling formations as well as personnel in search of the line-up to bury Liverpool’s reputation as the league’s most inconsistent performers, brilliant one week and maddening the next.
Tottenham goalkeeper Michel Vorm didn’t look any less impressive than what Hugo Lloris could have been, had he been match-fit.

With midfielder Emre Can and striker Divock Origi also facing a race against time to recover from injuries they suffered in midweek, the loss of Coutinho would be a major blow for the Reds.
