Tottenham Hotspur Confirm Alex Pritchard’s Norwich City Switch
Tottenham Hotspur sold a talented young playmaker this week, with Alex Pritchard joining Norwich City in a deal reported to be worth around £8 million – according to the Daily Mail.

Sky Sports claim on their website that a bid had been accepted by Tottenham from the Seagulls after extensive talks and Pritchard was due to begin a medical late on Tuesday night.
Brighton and Hove Albion’s chief executive Paul Barber has given a weird explanation as to why the seaside club missed out on Alex Pritchard’s signature on Thursday.
By signing with Norwich City, Alex Pritchard (should he regain his form from two years ago) can help the Canaries make their way back into the Premier League after just one season.
Former England U21 worldwide Pritchard signed a four-year contract at Carrow Road and Brighton quickly attempted to atone for the disappointment by capturing Oliver Norwood from Reading.
“Our opening day record doesn’t really matter to me but records are there to be broken and we intend to go to Blackburn and break it”.
He has made more than 400 career appearances for clubs including Exeter, Peterborough and Crawley and will fight for a first-team place alongside John Ruddy and Michael McGovern.
“I’ve had a full pre-season and with our first game at the weekend I’m looking forward to hopefully bedding myself in quickly”.
“We agreed terms with Spurs, and then agreed terms with the player and agent”.
Pritchard, who operates in the number 10 role but can also play out wide, has three years remaining on his current Spurs deal.

Pritchard, who joined Spurs from the West Ham academy in 2009, scored 12 goals as the Bees reached the playoffs.
