Tottenham to face Monaco at Wembley Stadium
Tottenham warmed up with an emphatic 4-0 win away at Stoke on Sunday which followed an identical pattern to the equivalent fixture which occurred towards the end of last season, with South Korean worldwide Son Heung-Min bagging a brace.

“For every player, it’s a dream to play in the Champions League”, the 24-year-old said.
Davies said: “We’ve almost sold out the games and that crowd could be a huge advantage for us to qualify”.
“Hopefully he can repeat some of the form he showed last season and get some goals”.
SPURS are likely to set an attendance record for a Champions League match in this country when they take on Monaco on Wednesday night – with Mauricio Pochettino confident his side will quickly settle into their new “home”.
Part of Tottenham’s home stadium is now undergoing construction work, with some of it being demolished to make room for a new stadium opening in 2018, adjacent to White Hart Lane.
Arsenal’s record over those two seasons may well worry Spurs fans. “The people who need to know how I feel have been told already, this season and in previous seasons”, Hughes told British media.
“We’ve put our preparations in place and will train there again before the first game”.
“Clearly I went out of the technical area and they spotted that”.
But Davies fancies their chances of progressing from a group containing Monaco, Bayer Leverkusen and CSKA Moscow. Following a hard start to the season, last season’s golden boot victor opened his account this time around to score his fiftieth Premier League goal for Tottenham.
“It’s a pretty reasonable group”. Out of the teams we could have drawn we have to be pleased.
But Wales defender Davies has special motivation for Spurs to make it all the way to the final, with the showpiece occasion being held in Cardiff next June.
“But we are not going to underestimate any of the teams we come up against”.
“We have had the experience of the Europa League over the last couple of seasons and some tough away games so we have to make our home form count against these teams”.

He said: “It would be incredible to do something as special as that”.
