Tottenham transfer news: Spurs ready to sign Javier Hernandez, Saido Berahino
Tottenham Hotspur are close to adding a new striker to their ranks in the form of Clinton Njie from Lyon with a fee believed to have been agreed for the Cameroon worldwide, report Sky Sports.

Metro reveal that the deal could be worth €15 million (£10.5m) for Njie but also suggest that a £7.5m offer from Spurs had previously been rejected by the French club – said report also links the player with Arsenal and Newcastle.
Discussions between Tottenham officials and Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas have mainly centred on the structure of the transfer, which will include several performance-related add-ons. The Cameronian winger split his time last season between starting in the XI and starting from the bench, managing an impressive tally of seven goals and seven assists along the way.
Spurs are understood to be in talks with Lyon regarding the 21-year-old, with the wide-man seemingly a player Mauricio Pochettino admires.
In addition to N’Jie, they are also in talks to sign Manchester United striker Hernandez and Berahino from West Brom, while Pochettino is keen to add a defensive midfielder to his side too.
It’s easy to see why Spurs would want to make N’jie their most expensive signing of the season (so far).
Tottenham are still tracking West Bromwich Albion’s Saido Berahino, but there remains a sizeable difference in the two club’s valuation of the England Under-21 global. Emmanuel Adebayor, Aaron Lennon and Roberto Soldado are still expected to leave the club before the end of the month.

Spurs have been linked with a number other attacking targets already this summer, but have had little success.
