A key of news from Disney’s D23 Expo is that Toy Story 4 will indeed center around Woody and Bo Peep, the journey to get her and director John Lasseter talked about the inspiration behind the love story. “I think it will be a very good movie”. “It’s about great stories, that’s what we do”.

Woody will be reunited with Bo Peep in a love story in Toy Story 4.
The Toy Story films have always mined emotional territory, but the highly anticipated Toy Story 4 will tackle surprisingly adult subject matter for an animation.
And who are the two characters heading for a romance? Those evil, emotion-wrecking sons of guns at Pixar are about to destroy us all over again when Toy Story 4 is released, even though that seems like a lifetime away.
Also joining in the celebration were writers Rashida Jones and Will McCormack (“Celeste & Jesse Forever”), who are part of the “Toy Story 4” team. This idea came up in a meeting for a different movie, leading to Lasseter and Andrew Stanton privately working on this idea for a while.
“We love these characters so much; they are like family to us”, Lasseter said in a statement published by First Showing. As a huge fan of what the third film achieved, and who doesn’t necessarily see the need for a fourth given Toy Story 3’s lovely conclusion, it’s a huge comfort to hear that this story comes from an intimate place. And Lasseter will be directing. While details have been scarce about the upcoming film, Cinema Blend has just obtained some information to make any fan excited.
Coming off that last one, the Toy Story films are mad profitable, earning around $US 2 billion between them at the box office.

The film (to be directed by Lasseter along with Josh Cooley) is schedule to open in US cinemas on 16 June 2017, arriving in the UK 14 July the same year.
