Trackmania Turbo delayed to 2016
“The Trackmania series has a strong community that’s at the heart of everything that we do”. This is why it comes as no surprise that Ubisoft today announced that the game would be delayed. With that the date has been changed so that more can be done to the game. There were suggestions that the game would be getting VR support and the delay would place the game within the release window of PlayStation VR and Oculus Rift.

The additional development time will be used to allow Nadeo to enhance the campaign and the videogame’s interface in addition to improving Trackmania Turbo’s multiplayer modes.
Trackmania Turbo was one of the quieter announcements to come out of the multiple high-orbit nuclear strikes that was this year’s E3. But! “The extra time will give us an opportunity to make sure that the online infrastructure is stable and that the online experience is a smooth one”, the publisher stated on its official blog. They are also going to focus on Trackmania’s multiplayer modes as these are said to be the most popular with players.
When Trackmania Turbo does launch, it will also include over 200 tracks, four environments, offline split-screen, and more.
