Tracy is now starting to get his career back on track, and he proved he is on form by performing two shows in New York City on Monday night. Morgan tweeted. “Picking up the pieces!”

Morgan had the support of fellow 30 Rock alum Judah Friedlander, who tweeted a photograph with the caption, “T Money is back!!!!!!!!” The 46-year-old popped up at the Comedy Cellar and The Stand in NYC to give his first public stand-up shows since getting severely injured in a vehicle crash 16 months ago, and from what attendees say, it seems he hasn’t lost a beat!

Only a few dozen people were lucky enough to witness Tracy Morgan’s return to live comedy on October 12!

Comedian James “Jimmy Mack” McNair of Peekskill, a mentor of Morgan’s, was killed.

The comedian was left with brain trauma and a broken leg and ribs following the incident in June 2014, which happened after a show.

He returned to the spotlight last month when he made a surprise appearance at the Emmy Awards.

After he finished his second performance at The Stand, Tracy caught a quick bite to eat before heading out.

“I’m here, standing on my own two feet”, he said from the Emmy stage after receiving a standing ovation.

It was also not known if he would ever recover from the brain injury caused when a truck ploughed into his limo in New Jersey.
