The bottles subject to recall were purchased between November 9 and December 14 and are stamped with the SKU 51857. All Triple Ginger Brew is included in the recall.

Trader Joe’s tells WXXA they will not be carrying the product for the remainder of the season. If you have bought the soda, you’re being asked to get rid of it immediately and put it in an outside container.
To date, no injuries or illnesses have been reported and this a precautionary move.

The grocery chain says it issued the recall because of “reports of unopened bottles potentially bursting”. While the soda itself is safe, unopened bottles have been reported to shatter or burst, KTLA reports. The product was distributed to Trader Joe’s stores nationwide. The company said it will provide a refund for any purchases of the affected Triple Ginger Brew, which has also been removed from store’s shelves.
