Tom Cruise experienced a pre-Halloween fright on Friday when one of the trailers on set for the film “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back” went ablaze on the same night Leah Remini revealed additional details about the actor and the Church of Scientology.

According to TMZ, the wardrobe / clothing trailer unexpectedly caught fire yet it is nonetheless unclear what sparked the blaze.
TOM Cruise was just yards away from a fire this week that was most definitely not part of his action-packed movie.
Scenes from the incident showed big flames and dark clouds of smoke coming from the trailer. “Being critical of Tom Cruise is being critical of Scientology itself”.
Speaking with 20/20, Remini said that after attending the 2006 wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes in Italy, she returned home complaining about the behavior of two high-ranking Church members who she thought needed to be dealt with – Cruise and leader David Miscavige. Remini maintained Norman Starkey was “humping Brooke Shields” like Tom Cruise and were on a date, and that Scientology’s wedded Chairman David Miscavige was handling his helper. ‘ Scientology is being brought by them down’. “Maybe I was barring that road for them”, she added.
The fire occurred the same day that “King of Queens” actress Leah Remini gave a tell-all interview about her time as a Scientologist, and why she made a decision to leave the religion that Cruise still calls his own.

Remini said that Cruise is a powerful member of the church.
