The Morse code was decoded by Screen Crush, which disclosed that the message translates to “E I’m coming for you May 31”.

“It’s starting. This week production”.

And with the arguable exception of the first film, which is largely serviceable if not very good, spending my time with Monsieur Michael Bay, as well as the Autobots and Decepticons, has been a regrettable, even loathsome activity. Megatron, as Transformers fans are well aware, has been a consistent big bad throughout the film franchise.

Shortly after it was confirmed that Josh Duhamel is coming back as Lennox, Tyrese Gibson sent out a video to director Michael Bay, asking for his character Epps to be brought back into the fray. Well, except for the last movie, Transformers: Age of Extinction, which swapped out Megatron for Galvatron.

Megatron was (seemingly) killed by Optimus Prime in the franchise’s third entry, Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Following a string of cryptic warnings over the past week, Megatron himself has revealed that he will be the main villain for “Transformers: The Last Knight” in the film’s latest teaser.

Transformers 5 or Transformers: The Last Knight is scheduled to open in Theaters on June 23, 2017.

Jerrod Carmichael and John Wick are also set to play unspecified roles in the film.
