Transformers: Combiner Wars Trailer Returns to Cybertron
The first trailer for the much-anticipated new Transformers cartoon has rolled out at Comic-Con, offering a first look at the Machinima-made series. “The writers, artists and voice actors working on this series are all true fans of the franchise, and their love for these characters really shines through in ‘Combiner Wars'”.

The first chapter in the Transformers Generations Prime Wars Trilogy, the eight-episode “Combiner Wars” series will premiere on August 2 exclusively on Verizon’s Go90 in the US and on various other platforms around the globe. Their new struggle centers not around the traditional battle between good and evil but rather against an ancient technology that allows individuals to combine into larger, more unsafe robots. Along with very familiar faces like Starscream and Optimus Prime, you’ll see new ‘bots as well, some of which are the titular Combiners: huge Transformers made when regular ones come together a la Voltron. Eric Calderon is the executive producer with George Krstic as the head writer and FJ Desanto as a series writer. Who will stand-up to this threat to ensure that the fragile peace that was 4 million years in the making remains?
