Kabam CEO, Kevin Chou expects the game to provide transformer fans an opportunity to have a one on one interaction with all the popular Autobots and Decepticons associated with the franchise. “Kabam strives to develop mobile games that offer players years of entertainment and the Transformers’ many colorful characters will allow us to deliver on that goal”. Kabam qualifies nonetheless that the “Transformers” mobile game will lend movie support where relevant. Given the ripple effect that Pokemon Go has had in the gaming world so far, the creators of the Transformers mobile Game remain confident of enjoying some success with the new game.
What do you want to see in Kabam’s new Transformers mobile game?
Tim Fields, senior vice president and general manager for Kabam Vancouver, said in a statement that the studio is full of Transformers fans, and that it will deliver “immersive world that is truly ‘more than meets the eye'”. I’ve been waiting for a good Transformers game to hit iOS, and even though we’ve recently got Transformers: Earth Wars [Free], which has pretty good reviews on the App Store, I’ve been waiting for a game that doesn’t have to do with base building.

The media outlet cites Kabam chief operating officer Kent Wakeford in describing the target gameplay experience with the “Transformers” mobile game they are developing with Hasbro. More specifically, this game will be a triple-A MMO based on the Autobots and Decepticons. He also added that, with power-packed action platform, 3D platform, and exciting gaming concepts, this game would surely enthrall Transformers’ fans. Some of the other popular games that Kabam Vancouver has developed in the recent past include Marvel Contest of Champions, and Fast and Furious: Legacy for Universal. No word on when it will be released, but chances are we’ll be looking at 2017.
