He says when traveling, particularly when you’re coming back home to Springfield and you need to connect through bigger airports, allow plenty of time to get through security.

This Memorial Day weekend, Orlando International Airport is expected to be one of the busiest airports in the nation with more than 600,000 travelers.
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said the federal government’s recent additions to TSA resources have already made an impact after O’Hare’s security bottleneck earlier this month.
“Charleston has grown and along with it the airport has grown to meet the travel needs of our passengers”, Paul G. Campbell Jr., executive director and CEO of the Charleston County Aviation Authority, said in a release.
TSA is recommending travelers arrive two hours ahead of time to get through what’s expected to be crowded security checkpoints.
It might take up to 30 minutes to pass through security at Mineta San Jose International airport.
“Monitor the airline’s websites, monitor the airport’s websites for updates on their flights”.
TSA officials have cited budget cuts for the shortage in screeners during high travel times.
In 2015, GSP had more than 1.9 million passengers come though the terminal, a 2.3% increase over 2014.
More than 38 million Americans will travel over Memorial Day weekend, according to the American Automobile Association. “We’re still seeing relatively reasonable gasoline prices, worldwide visitors are continuing to rise, and there is also a lot of marketing and excitement around the National Park Service Centennial, so with all those factors together, I would be very surprised if we didn’t see a record memorial day weekend for Montana”. “We urge drivers to stay safe on the roadways this weekend and to always do not forget to disconnect and drive”.

“Right now, all the leading indicators are that we’ll have a strong Memorial Day weekend”, said Dax Schieffer, Voices of Montana Tourism director.
