Trent Richardson expected to sign with Baltimore Ravens

Richardson signed a two-year contract with the Oakland Raiders in March of 2015 but missed part of training camp due to pneumonia and was ultimately released before the start of the 2015 season.

A first-round pick by the Browns four years ago, Richardson lasted two seasons in Cleveland before being traded to the Indianapolis Colts.

The Ravens are in the process of bringing running back Trent Richardson to Baltimore for a physical with the intention of possibly signing him.

“It’s in the works”, Harbaugh said, speaking from the NFL Scouting Combine on Thursday.

Either way, it looks like Richardson might have a chance to change his reputation as one of the biggest draft busts ever, first with the Cleveland Browns and then with the Indianapolis Colts. “It’s possible. I don’t think it’s finalized yet, but it is a possibility”.

This has led many to question what in the world is Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome exactly thinking. We’ll see where it goes.

Richardson also worked out for the Broncos and Bills last season but failed to make the team, according to the Sun.

However, Richardson has experienced success against the AFC North teams, averaging 100 all goal yards against the Steelers and Bengals, and over 90 against the Ravens.

It’s great to hear Trent Richardson’s name in good news, and we can only hope that working with the Ravens finally gets his career going after a few hard years.

The Ravens’ current running back, Justin Forsett, suffered a broken arm in November, though he expects to be 100 percent for offseason workouts.
