Trevor Noah’s first ‘Daily Show’ promo touts an ass for the masses
To support the new incarnation of the show, for the first time, Comedy Central will be running, full catch-up episodes of The Daily Show online at www.comedycentralafrica.com from Wednesday, 30 September, while Noah’s smiling face will grace the front page of DStv’s subscriber magazine (September issue).

My guess is that he’s been extra careful about what he posts on Twitter, too, but it would be odd for the incoming host of The Daily Show to go into total internet hiding before he starts his gig. Striding out in a slick suit to the tune of Kanye West’s “Power”, Trevor Noah assumes the position behind the desk Stewart made so influential and famous. This short teaser promoting the new show promises “Same Chair”. Of course, the sound track is ideal and well, we also get a zoomed in look at the “different ass”.
“I have a very vague picture of the show right now”, Noah told GQ in an interview last month. “I’m a big fan of The Daily Show, so for me to break it would be blasphemy in my world”.
Whether you’re ready for it or not, the next phase of The Daily Show is approaching. “It’s the same way, when Fallon took over from Leno, it’s still The Tonight Show“.

Now that Jon Stewart has taken his final bows, Trevor Noah will be taking over as host of Comedy Central’s Emmy and Peabody Award-winning “The Daily Show“.
