Steve King is firmly in the Donald Trump camp, but said Thursday he can work with Democrat Hillary Clinton if she defeats Trump for the presidency.

Ruth reminded the audience that Clinton would not only be the first woman president if elected, but the first mother and first grandmother to hold office. Ted Cruz’s bid for president, is wholeheartedly supporting the GOP ticket in November – and was quite pleased with Donald Trump’s selection of Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his vice presidential pick.
Hillary Clinton on Wednesday had her second run in with an animal rights protester in a week when Secret Service had to surround her after a woman broke through a barricade and made a run for the stage in Iowa.
“Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know”, he said, referring to gun activists and supporters of a constitutional provision that guarantees the right to bear arms.
“I can reason with Hillary Clinton under those circumstances”, King said. While insisting his statements were not a formal endorsement of Trump, King gave reporters the impression Thursday he will at some point before the election.
“I’m crossing the country to improve the lives of the vast majority of Americans”, the former Secretary of State said.
Trump says it shows that under Clinton, “you pay, and you’re getting things”.
With Trump’s nomination, King has become a strident supporter.

“On (Trump’s) agenda, nearly everything there I agree with, and I think we should commit to working on that agenda”, King said, adding that he is working with Trump supporters such as Iowa’s Sam Clovis.
