“Of course he likes Hillary Clinton”, Mr Trump said of the 29-year-old gunman’s father.

“IS is honoring President Obama”. He even called it the JV. Republicans believe that the USA decision to leave Iraq in 2011 created a power vacuum that allowed al-Qaida in Iraq, a subsidiary of the larger terror group al-Qaida, to morph into the 30,000-strong Islamic State group that in 2014 seized a third of Syria and Iraq.

“Here’s why it happened: He withdrew the troops from Iraq”, said Giuliani.

“To carry that further and to indictae that somehow a leader in our country was central to, quote, “founding” an entity like ISIS would be over-the-top and certainly not a true statement”, Corker said. “That’s what [Trump] means by it”.

Trump was responding to questions on his controversial statement that President Barack Obama and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton are the founders of ISIS.

Trump supporters have said they know what he really means by that – that Obama administration policies, which Clinton was a part of during her tenure as secretary of state, created a power vacuum in the Middle East that allowed terrorist groups to sprout up in the place of USA troops.

“And I would say, the co-founder would be crooked Hillary Clinton”, he said.

“If she gets to pick (US Supreme Court) judges, nothing you can do, folks”.

DT: I don’t care. “I gave her co-founder if you really looked at this speech”. “I go back to a very good way of life”, he told the network.

Wait, is Trump actually saying Obama founded ISIS? “But he was the founder, absolutely the founder”. “I said it was going to destabilize the Middle East”.

Clinton’s campaign accused Trump of “trash-talking” the US while failing to present any serious counter-terrorism plans of his own.

In a tweet Friday, Trump referred to the Obama-Islamic State remarks as “sarcasm”.

He continued: “And I would say. You meant that he created the vacuum; he lost the peace”, Hugh Hewitt said on his radio show. They should give, you know, in athletics, we get awards.

Appearing on CNBC’s “Squawkbox” Thursday morning, Trump doubled down on his comments after being pressed on whether he felt accusing the U.S. President of creating a terrorist organization is “appropriate”. “I give him the most valuable player award”, Trump replied.

Appearing in Miami Beach, Florida, on Thursday morning, Trump repeated his attack for the third time, saying the USA government “has unleashed ISIS”. More than anything, Trump has built his campaign on (white) America’s fears of the other, and what better way for him to harness those than by othering the sitting president of the United States, be it by questioning his citizenship, his faith, or his loyalty.
