Trump admits “Obama was born in the United States”

Mr Trump’s campaign team had earlier also said it was Mrs Clinton’s team who had started the rumours in 2008. There is no erasing it in history.

Trump made no mention when he spoke in Miami of his pseudo-mea culpa that dominated much of the news cycle, walking out on stage Friday night to the protest anthem “Do You Hear The People Sing?” from the broadway musical Les Misérables.

Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign deployed a popular surrogate on Friday to gin up enthusiasm amid young voters who could be critical to victory on November 8: Michelle Obama. “Although, the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know”.

Donald Trump played the media for free live TV while setting off a political firestorm after announcing he now believes President Obama was born in the United States, but only after a long line of veterans voiced their support for him.

Before Trump’s event today, Hillary Clinton told supporters that he should apologize to the president, and to the American people, for attempting to “delegitimize” Obama’s presidency.

Trump has never disavowed his repeated questioning and innuendo about President Obama’s place of birth.

Just in case there’s any confusion: President Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961. “She doesn’t have the energy”, Trump said.

“He’s feeding into the worst impulses, the bigotry and bias that lurks in our country”, she added.

“President Barack Obama was born in the United States period”.

Speaking at a rally in North Carolina, the tycoon erroneously said his opponent wants to “abolish, essentially, the Second Amendment”.

So, if Donald Trump is guilty of anything, it’s following Hillary’s lead on the issue.

Mr. Trump claimed Hillary Clinton got the birther ball rolling.

For his part, Obama, who asked by a reporter for his reaction during an Oval Office meeting on trade, seemed bemused.

This is despite a number of surrogates saying on the campaign trail that Obama was born in the U.S. He still doesn’t see him as an American.

Secret Service agents protect both Trump and Clinton as presidential nominees. Over the last month, he has tried to remake his image by casting himself as a champion of poor blacks and Latinos, whom he says Democrats have neglected.

“So we can not afford to squander this opportunity, particularly given the alternative”. We can’t just accept this. “If we don’t, it won’t stop”. His campaign data walked back his remarks accusing Clinton to have brought up the issue first in 2008, which is false.

“The next 53 days will shape will shape the next 50 years”, she said.

“That is what women do every single day”, Clinton said. “We have to keep the suspense going, OK?” Right? I think they should disarm-immediately.

She closed by urging her audience, a key constituency in her primary victories and the upcoming November election, to weigh in on the “profound choice” between her and Trump.

“There can be no other interpretation”, he said. The signal was pretty clear to African Americans: It ain’t about you.
