Trump Adviser Stands by Call for Clinton to Face ‘Firing Squad’

CLEVELAND ― Even though the recent two-year GOP-led investigation of the 2012 attack on the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya, produced no evidence of wrongdoing by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Republicans have repeatedly lambasted Clinton for the attack during the Republican National Convention.

The billionaire reached the threshold of 1,237 delegates early evening after a change in rule allowing his home state NY to cast its vote out of alphabetical order.

“It is my honor to be able to throw Donald Trump over the top in the delegate count tonight”, Trump Jr. said. “Are you with us on that?” In fact, this election is not about you or me either.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Clinton is unreliable.

Thirteen months after launching an improbable bid for the White House, Donald Trump captured the 2016 Republican presidential nomination on Tuesday, having vanquished 16 party rivals, warred with much of its establishment and provoked controversy at every turn.

Trump will also propose an immediate suspension on immigration from all countries affected by Jihadist terrorism until the USA has improved security mechanisms.

Despite threats by anti-Trump groups at the convention to disrupt proceedings, protests were few and largely kept under control. “Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided that they’d they go kill some Americans?”

Why did they, how did they know he was even there?

The third night of the Convention was supposed to belong to Mike Pence, the GOP vice presidential nominee, but Cruz’s non-endorsement was what dominated the evening. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, shaking off the disappointment of being passed over as Trump’s running mate, led the coordinated attack on Clinton at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleavland.

“Democracy is a series of choices”.

The bewildered political adviser further shared his puzzlement on Clinton not being charged by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for mishandling classified information. Christie asked. “Hillary Clinton, lying to the American people about her selfish, terrible judgment, guilty or not guilty?”

“Al Baldasaro’s comments that Secretary Clinton should be “put in the firing line and shot” are disgusting, offensive and frighteningly commonplace in the party of Trump”, NHDP Chairman Ray Buckley said in a statement.

Excerpts of the speech released by the Trump campaign showed clear echoes of Warren and Bernie Sanders, aiming at blue-collar voters who “have been neglected, ignored and abandoned”.

He said that his dad will be a president “who says what needs to be said and not just what you want to hear”.
