Trump Again Raises Specter of Violence Against Clinton at Rally

Donald Trump has suggested Hillary Clinton’s bodyguards should be disarmed, adding: “Let’s see what happens to her”.

He justified asking Clinton’s bodyguards to disarm by falsely accusing his presidential rival of trying to “destroy” the Second Amendment that refers to the United States gun control policies, The New York Times reported.

Trump has long incorrectly suggested his Democratic opponent wants to overturn the Second Amendment and take away Americans’ right to own guns.

“I think that her bodyguards should drop all weapons”, Mr. Trump said at a rally in Miami, to loud applause. They should disarm. I think they should disarm-immediately. They should disarm. Right? “Let’s see what happens to her”. “It’ll be very unsafe”, Trump said to the thunderous applause of his followers.

Republican nominee Donald Trump managed to create a lot of buzz this week, after claiming that this Friday he will finally reveal the truth about President Obama’s birthplace, even though everything was made clear a few years ago, when Barack Obama made his birth certificate public. “Period. Donald Trump can not distract from the inescapable fact that he is the one who embraced and promoted the racist birther lie and bears the responsibility for it”.

‘He is unfit to be President and it is time Republican leaders stand up to denounce this disturbing behaviour in their nominee’. “Although the Second Amendment people – maybe there is, I don’t know”. Trump asked the crowd.

The simple fact that Trump feels entitled to make these type of statements seems to say something about the nature of the candidate himself.

On Friday, Trump ignored reporters’ questions about his abrupt change in stance this week over the place of President Obama’s birth.

Trump made the reference at a rally in Miami while discussing Clinton’s support for gun control.

A Trump spokesperson tried settling the issue by releasing a statement on Thursday, which reads, “Mr. Trump believes that President Obama was born in the United states”, quotes the “New York Times”.

Unlike her husband, who forged a strong bond with Clinton during her four years as his secretary of state, Mrs. Obama does not have a particularly close relationship with the Democratic nominee, though the two are said to be friendly.

The Secret Service declined to comment on the remark, CNN reported.

At a rally in North Carolina, Mr Trump said his rival wanted to “abolish, essentially, the Second Amendment”. “We can’t let Barack Obama’s legacy fall into the hands of someone who doesn’t understand that, whose unsafe and divisive vision for our country will drag us backwards”.
