Carly Fiorina is explaining the rules of the Republican Party to rival Donald Trump as she looks to assert why the race for the Republican nomination could go to a contested convention.

Original story: Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz announced Wednesday afternoon that former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina will be his running mate.

IN has 57 available delegates.
The Texas senator, who has repeatedly said “Hoosiers” – a 1980s flick about an underdog IN high school basketball team – is one of his favorite movies, was IN the the gym where the movie was filmed.
In the Republican race, Cruz and Kasich are desperately trying to force a convention fight.
So the candidates are essentially competing in 53 mini contests across the state – some of them heavily Democratic districts where Republicans are few and far between, making it hard to even recruit people to be Republican delegates.

Cruz has proved more adept than Trump at wooing unpledged delegates and winning over activists at state conventions, including some Trump-pledged delegates who could break for him at a multiballot convention.
