Earlier in the day, Clinton, the front-runner for the Democratic nomination, backed out of a debate with Sanders.
Clinton on Monday said she’d introduce comprehensive immigration reform in her first 100 days in office and sought to characterize Trump as eager to destroy “mixed status” families, in which some are natural born citizens but others are here illegally. After studying poll results from her two Senate campaigns in NY and her Democratic primary campaign against Barack Obama, O’Donnell found a trend that should sincerely spook all of us. Trump led Clinton 46-44 nationally among registered voters in the poll, which had a margin of error of +/- 3.5 points.
In a statement, Sanders said he was “disappointed” though not surprised that Clinton declined the debate invitation.
“Pollsters have been wrong about Sanders before, especially in MI, but we see little in our research to indicate that Sanders will overtake Clinton in California”, said Jay Leve of SurveyUSA, which conducted the poll.
On a slew of issues at the heart of the conservative cause – including gun rights, abortion and taxes – Trump has neatly toed the Republican Party line despite professing views anathema to the party platform in years before he entered politics.
“I am very interested in that”.
“I also would suggest that Secretary Clinton may want to be not quite so presumptuous about thinking that she is a certain victor”, Sanders added.
Concha noted that recent polls have shown, collectively, a major swing in Trump’s favor.
“We need a president who will use the bully pulpit to stand up for the American people”, Clinton declared.
The latest ABC News/Washington Post poll has Trump with a 60 percent unfavorable rating and Clinton at 53 percent unfavorable. She thanked its members – who include child care workers, home health aides, janitors and others – and called them “unsung heroes” who deserve a living wage.
Fino believes Clinton’s support of Free Trade is losing her the backing of working class white males – a demographic she believes the candidate needs to win the election.

“We are going to unify the Democratic Party and stop Donald Trump”, she said.
