Trump and Sanders are not making the same arguments

They all form part of Clinton’s “bipartisan cadre of billionaires”.

The first few polls showed a close race, but Trump was ahead. Instead, it would make us look like willing dupes of the Democratic Party machine.

Another state on Trump’s wish list is MI with 16 electoral votes.

Hillary Clinton has “extraordinary potential” to do very well with young voters this November, but it won’t be easy.

But what of Georgia?

“Some states may flip and some states may not change overnight, but being focused on organizing is something that’s important, particularly this year because it’s a dynamic race”, said Marlon Marshall, Clinton’s director of state campaigns and political engagement. Several Democrats noted the Clinton campaign’s “Role Models” TV ad as an especially effective outreach to female voters. Mitt Romney that year won 24 states (including Louisiana) for 206 Electoral College votes. A new website, LongRoom, is attempting to “unskew” the polls in Trump’s favor, based on the nebulous notion that he should somehow be winning, save for the machinations of biased pollsters.

Up next is OH, with 18 electoral votes, a state won by Obama last time by only 3 points.

When they return, they have to get their kids ready for school. They do not have time to answer the phone and deal with a pollster. And you know who they’re going to go to. Single Republicans and metro-Atlanta empty-nester Republicans tend to be more moderate, thus skewing the polling. I still think a lot of the pollsters who poll Georgia are not very good. Trump’s campaign is forced to play defense -he can not afford to lose any of them. August is a awful time to poll Republicans in Georgia.

Here is my overarching caveat, however. Such statements lay bare the actual content of his “political revolution”, which was meant to trap mass anger behind the Democratic Party and pressure them to vote for corporate candidates. As his campaign continues to deteriorate while Republicans wait for a pivot that will never come, we may see big shifts.

As recently as May 2, the Sanders campaign issued a press release criticizing the Clinton campaign for operating a “money-laundering scheme” through the Hillary Victory Fund, also known as the Victory Fund or HVF.

Democratic leaders would not give details on the amount of spending expected in Georgia, or the nature of the planned investment. Critics of Donald Trump’s labeled it another tumultuous week for the republican presidential candidate From remarks about the 2nd Amendment which Hillary Clinton supporters claimed were aimed at inciting violence against her to a letter from 50 republican security officials who said Trump would be a “reckless” president, democrats in Georgia pounced. Georgia polling reflects this divide. Trump’s campaign had its own unity challenges, with establishment Republicans’ reluctance to embrace his candidacy and an ugly primary campaign between Trump and his numerous GOP opponents.

As Clinton seeks support from Republicans, Sanders hails her role in the “political revolution”
