Trump Appears Open To Pathway To Legalization For Some Illegal Immigrants
As a matter of fact, he seemed to be considering softening his stance on immigration, and his supporters were fuming.

The campaign has been roiled by Trump’s evolving messages on immigration this week, after he appeared to flip-flop on his hard-line stance of deporting all undocumented immigrants. When pressed, he said the details would need to be worked out with Congress.
“Do we take him and the family. and send ’em out? He’s on second base and getting closer to home”.
He didn’t indicate openness to considering legal status for those people, however, and reiterated that he intends to follow the law, which requires removing them from the country.
One might reasonably interpret this statement as meaning, “Yes, we certainly can adjust existing laws to accommodate the great undocumented immigrants who contribute to our society”. “It’ll still kick people out”. He said that they would make a “decision very soon”, on letting long-time illegal immigrants stay in America.
Immigration is a beloved topic at Breitbart News. He has vowed to build a wall along the Mexico border and enforce current immigration laws on the books as a way to decrease illegal immigration. “You have to get them out”.
“We can expedite the good ones to come back in and everybody wants that”. He’s just using different words, or something. Jeff Sessions, R-Alabama., asked reporters during Trump’s Austin rally as he struggled to formulate a response. “They’ve gone through a process”, Trump said, emphasizing he’s referring to people who have done so legally. “I fundamentally believe that the first and foremost priority is to fix the unlawful immigration”.
“We have some really bad gang members and awful people, those people are going out Day One”, he added.
“By crossing the border illegally, they’re, by definition, criminals”.
“It’s great to be back in OH”, said Trump, speaking at the University of Akron’s James A. Rhodes Arena.
“Lots of people were brought out of the country with the existing laws”.
Her campaign also released an online video that compiles footage of prominent white supremacist leaders praising Trump, who has been criticized for failing to immediately denounce the support that he’s garnered from white nationalists and supremacist, including former Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard David Duke.
But when asked a year ago about those prior remarks, Trump assured Fox News’ Bret Baier that “there will be a deportation” in his administration.
“She’s lied all over the place”, Trump told Fox News in a taped interview that aired Wednesday. “He can only change so much, but I think he’ll be good for this country”. It sounds like it’s coming from consultants. In a tweet on August 24, 2015, Trump wrote that Republican hopeful Jeb Bush “speaks Mexican, this is America, English!”.
Kristy Campbell, a spokeswoman for Bush, said in a statement Wednesday it was “unsurprising that Donald Trump is finally faced with reconciling his immigration policy with reality, something Governor Bush predicted past year”. Her campaign says deportations would focus on immigrants “who pose a violent threat to public safety”. “He should have thought of this earlier”, Gutiérrez said.
Aides to two of Trump’s Republican primaries – who were attacked for being weak on illegal immigration – argued Wednesday that Trump was now adopting their candidate’s position.
She also has an overwhelming lead when it comes to minority voters, with 73 per cent of Hispanic voters supporting her and only 22 per cent supporting Mr Trump.
Trump also paid tribute to Border Patrol agents and to the families of those whose loved ones were murdered by immigrants in the nation illegally. It didn’t fit with what he was saying, but he went with it anyway.
“They’re letting the illegal aliens dictate to us what our jobs are”, he said. And it’s going to be a big wall. It’s going to be as attractive as a wall can be, but it’s going to be a wall.

He said of his Democratic opponent, “Hillary Clinton is a bigot who sees people of color only as votes, not as human beings worthy of a better future”. We can easily have protection.
