Delaware’s GOP state convention voted 370 to 8 for its proposed slate of delegates to go to the Republican National Convention.

Missouri Democrats on Thursday selected 47 delegates for the party’s convention in Philadelphia July 25-28 in Philadelphia.

But Cruz’s Arizona campaign organizer says simple math led to the at-large victory Saturday.

“I’ve been saying for months I will vote for Trump in the first through the last ballot”, said Buckwalter, an estate and trusts lawyer from suburban Philadelphia.

State party chair Charlie Copeland says the move wasn’t surprising after many conversations among party officials in each county, promising that delegates would be unified.

Since Virginia’s delegates are unbound after the first ballot in Cleveland, the selection of a preponderance of Cruz backers to fill those delegate slots means that a lot of them could flip their votes to Cruz if Trump, who is less than 237 delegates away from clinching the 1,237 he needs to win, fails to get there on the first ballot.

IN is in the spotlight as presidential candidates gear up for the state’s primary on Tuesday. Ohio Gov. John Kasich appeared later Friday and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who’s trying to overtake the billionaire businessman.

“Everybody pounds it into you that you can’t win without a dramatic change”, Page said after hearing Trump give a 30-minute speak filled with his trademark braggadocio and jokes. He’s firmly in the never Trump camp.

There’s no clear result because some candidates were on both slates. Still, she won more votes in this overwhelmingly Democratic state than other Republican candidates for statewide office that year and displayed a hard-charging campaign style that endeared her to many Republicans. It will be the first time in memory that the state’s unusual system could decide a presidential nomination. “No one is getting to 1,237”. They, too, could switch if a second round of voting occurs at the national convention. Virginia House of Delegates Majority Leader Tim Hugo was among them, and he was the state chair for Rubio’s campaign. These 13 are separate from the three per congressional district that have been or will be selected as well.

“The way I look at it is, he is ahead by millions of votes and hundreds of delegates and to sit there and try to deny him the nomination is just asinine”, Vasilko said.

“In Indiana, Trump is positioned to corral all the [state’s 57] delegates, which will be a big prize toward winning the nomination outright”, Lee Miringoff, director of the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion, told NBC News. Mr Cruz and his new running mate, Carly Fiorina, address the convention on Saturday.
