In a letter delivered to Democratic National Committee late Friday, Brad Deutsch, Sanders’s campaign counsel, wrote of animosity by Frank toward Sanders dating to 1991.
The Sanders campaign said Malloy and Frank can not be trusted to perform their roles without bias. But his comments also served to lay out terms for Sanders embracing Clinton if she secures the Democratic nomination at the party’s convention in Philadelphia in July. “Some of [the Sanders supporters] are trying to lay the claim that he’s being unfairly deprived of this”.
