Trump Bashes Clinton for Rally Guest, with Disgraced Ex-Congressman Behind Him

(Clinton’s rally was open to the public.) But immediately behind Trump sat former congressman Mark Foley, who resigned in 2006 following allegations that he had sent sexually explicit emails and instant messages to teenage congressional pages.

“Of course he likes Hillary because Hillary won’t say the words radical Islamic terrorism”, Trump said of Mateen’s father, who had no knowledge of his son’s plot to kill people at an Orlando night club in June.

Not surprisingly, Donald Trump was quick to take advantage of the opportunity.

Former U.S. Rep. Mark Foley was at the Trump rally, caught on camera sitting behind the Republican candidate.

However, despite his dramatic fall from grace amid a sex scandal, Foley was seen prominently seated behind Trump at a rally in Fort Lauderdale on August 10, reports Yahoo News.

“The people behind me they’re all on television”.

In an unorthodox move, Trump presented data on large, handheld cards to argue that Obama and Clinton have failed the country with their economic and security policies.

Trump invited the comparison when he attacked Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s decision to allow Seddique Mateen in the crowd behind her during a rally earlier this week.

Mr. Foley, visible just over Mr. Trump’s left shoulder, eagerly raised his hand in response.

Donald Trump got a taste of his own medicine Wednesday as Mark Foley, the former USA congressman caught in a teen-boy sexting scandal, was seen sitting behind the Republican presidential nominee at a campaign rally.

That didn’t stop Trump from latching onto the controversy Wednesday night.

But as CNN pointed out, the row of seats directly behind the stage had “reserved” signs on them.

McEnany then concluded that Mateen came to Clinton’s rally because he was “mentally ill” in a joking manner. I’ve admired so much of what he’s done.

Foley, who resigned in 2006 after being accused of making sleazy come-ons to congressional male pages, remained throughout the entire Trump appearance in Sunrise, Florida, making no attempt to shield himself from reporters. “He’s a different breed of leader”.

Foley, who reportedly also attended Trump’s victory party the night he won the Sunshine State’s primary in March, was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement after a watchdog group leaked messages from Foley to young aides to law enforcement.
