Trump blasts nation-building yet wanted to seize Iraq’s oil

Donald Trump’s “extreme vetting” is as phony as he is. Trump wants to use the immigration system to keep out people who believe the tenets of radical Islamist ideology. “Only those we expect to flourish in this country and to embrace a tolerant American society should be issued visas”. He went so far as to accuse Obama of being the “founder of ISIS” during a rally in Florida last week, though he later said it was a sarcastic remark.

“We can not let this evil continue”, he said in his address in Youngstown, Ohio, a place where the driving concern for voters is the economy more than terrorism.

The proposed test would include questions to see if refugee applicants agree with Western liberal values related to anti-hate, anti-bigotry and religious tolerance.

Yet again, he advocated for the temporary suspension of immigrants from “some of the most risky and volatile regions of the world that have a history of exporting terrorism”, without naming those areas specifically.

Biden called Trump’s views “dangerous” and “un-American”.

“After we had made those hard-fought sacrifices and gains, we should never have made such a sudden withdrawal – on a timetable advertised to our enemies”, Trump said Monday.

“All actions should be oriented around this goal, and any country which shares this goal will be our ally”, he said.

All of this is meant to shed light on Trump’s proposed ban on Muslims entering the United States, unveiled in December.

Trump repeated his pledge to “temporarily suspend immigration from some of the most unsafe and volatile regions of the world that have a history of exporting terrorism” and said he would stop processing visas from countries where “adequate screening can not take place. until such time as it is deemed safe to resume based on new circumstances or new procedures”. “I’m looking now at territory”, he said in a July interview with NBC News, suggesting the change was more about language.

Hillary Clinton was the center of an on-stage attack during the speech when Trump stated that the Democrat lacks the “mental and physical stamina” to take on ISIS.

Calling his position “foreign policy realism”, Trump also criticized President Barack Obama’s administration for nation-building and said he opposes the prospect of installing democratic regimes in resistant Middle Eastern nations. “In his confession, the brother took pride in the murder and said: “Girls are born to stay home and follow traditions.”, said Trump.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has vowed to work closely with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) if he makes it to the Oval Office.

Trump also stated that the era of nation building should come to an end as he unveiled a blueprint for defeating global terrorism in partnership with North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and Middle East allies.

Michael Kugelman, South Asia expert with the think tank Wilson Center, said his “you’re-with-us-or-against-us” approach could put US-Pakistan ties “to the test in a big way”. Then he said that Muslim politicians and athletes headed to the United States for sports competitions would also be exempt, though he did not specify what level of officials or athletes.
