Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump tried to win over African-American voters in Milwaukee Tuesday night, speaking to a predominantly white audience 25 miles away in West Bend.

Trump said he would suspend immigration from “some of the most risky and volatile regions of the world, that have a history of exporting terrorism”.
“The scary thing for Republicans in the Virginia and Colorado numbers is that they show a possible Hillary Clinton landslide in states that only eight years ago leaned GOP and before that had been GOP strongholds”, said Peter A. Brown, the Quinnipiac poll’s assistant director.
If elected, Clinton said her administration would have a National Security and Foreign Policy that America can be proud of.
Mr Trump said that the test will not only expose terrorist sympathisers, but also will “screen out any who have hostile attitudes towards our country or its principles”.
Labor day is traditionally considered the start of the final phase a United States presidential campaign. For Trump, only 17 percent said the same.
“The threat to their life has gone up a couple clicks”, he said.
Trump is right that the Islamic State capitalized on the political and security vacuum in Iraq in 2014, but it’s not clear that a long-term USA military occupation to hold and exploit Iraqi’s oil resources would have led to a more stable outcome. His most specific prescriptions centered on changing US immigration policy to keep potential attackers from entering the country. He’ll also call for declaring in explicit terms that, like during the Cold War, the U.S.is in an ideological conflict with radical Islam. His proposal would include questionnaires and a review of immigrants’ social media accounts, as well as interviews of their friends and family.
“I will ask the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security to identify a list of regions where adequate screenings can not take place”, he explained.
Trump hasn’t been completely off the airwaves.
“The main victims of these riots are law-abiding African-American citizens living in these neighborhoods”, said Trump, who used a TelePrompter, despite his previous vocal disdain of its use by other candidates, including Hillary Clinton. He’s struggled to stay on message and has consistently overshadowed his policy rollouts, including an economic speech last week, with provocative statements, including his comments falsely declaring that Obama was the “founder” of the Islamic State.

Trump is calling for a temporary suspension on immigration and visas issued to countries where terrorists have spread violence.
