Almost a decade after the couple split, Bannon’s ex-wife also revealed in court documents that he refused to allow his children to allow their Los Angeles-area school because the high population of Jewish students.

“He said that he doesn’t like the way they raise their kids to be “whiny brats”, Mary Louise Piccard wrote in 2007.

Trump camp’s latest addition Stephen Bannon is far and away the worst add-on in the campaign’s history, and journalists everywhere are turning up massive scandals left and right on the former Breitbart leader-turned campaign man.

Alexandra Preate, a spokeswoman for Bannon denied on Friday the accusation, saying that Bannon was proud to send his daughters to the school. She was asking the court to make him pay for the school.

“The biggest problem he had with Archer is the number of Jews that attend”, Piccard said in a 2007 court filing.

At one school, she said, he asked the director why there were so many Hanukkah books in the library.

Piccard filed for divorce in 1997 after accusing Bannon of beating her up in an altercation over money.

Bannon was charged with domestic violence, battery and attempting to dissuade a victim from reporting a crime in February 1996 after he allegedly assaulted Piccard during an argument about finances, according to NBC News. He previously served as executive chairman of the conservative website Breitbart News, which the Hillary Clinton campaign has charged as being anti-Semitic. The charges were dropped after his estranged wife didn’t show up at trial, according to court records. Authorities noted red marks on Piccard’s wrist and neck, according to a police report.

Bannon’s personal spokesperson said Bannon never made those comments. Ivanka Trump converted to Orthodox Judaism when she married Jared Kushner, a young real estate developer who has become a driving force in his father-in-law’s campaign.
