Mrs Clinton campaigned in CT before her visit to Rhode Island. He says he hasn’t given speeches on Wall Street behind closed doors for $225,000 a speech.

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump has dashed the hopes of GOP leadership, who hoped he would tone down his trademark bluster on the campaign trail and start acting more presidential. The conversation was secretly recorded and leaked to several news organizations, including The Washington Post, and Trump and his campaign aides have argued that the comments have been misconstrued.

Donald Trump strategist Paul J. Manafort, left, chats with former presidential candidate Ben Carson as they head to a Trump for president reception at the Republican National Committee Spring Meeting, Thursday, April 21, 2016, in Hollywood, Fla.

‘You know I think we’ll do some of that, ‘ Donald Trump Jr. said.

Trump leads substantially in the delegate battle, with 846 delegates compared to 563 for Cruz and 147 for third-place John Kasich. Trump has repeatedly slammed the system as “rigged”.

Aside from the statewide vote for presidential candidates, party voters will be picking delegates to elect them at the convention.

Clinton’s rival, Bernie Sanders, spoke to a boisterous crowd of mostly young people in Baltimore and railed against big banks and highlighted his differences with Clinton on everything from the minimum wage to free-trade agreements.

That said, Tuesday’s states lean Democratic in the general election, and don’t bode well for arch-conservative Cruz.

The Democratic front-runner’s campaign announced on Friday she will be back in CT today, with campaign events in New Haven and Bridgeport, and stops at Central Falls High School in neighboring Rhode Island, which also has a Tuesday primary.

The Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus told the ABC news that the party is working hard to make sure that “we’ve got an open and fair convention” so that they get to that place where they can unify around one person.

He says the candidate has to be liked as much as Ronald Reagan and “compete on making the country better” rather than tearing down opponents. That would have meant 12 seats for Cruz, nine for Trump and two for Ohio Gov. John Kasich. “Absolutely”, replied Trump. “For the three exceptions, I would”.”I’m actually going to give Trump a little bit of credit here”.

Koch also said “it’s possible” that Hillary Clinton would be better than a Republican. “Because he already showed us what he believes, and he has already said what he wants to do, and he wants go after every one of the rights we have”. The same standard, he said, goes for Republicans. “I will continue to stand up and fight all the way into the White House”, Mrs Clinton told parishioners at Triumph Baptist Church in North Philadelphia.

It was announced this week that that Tubman would be featured on the $20 bill.

This points to a closer race than in neighboring NY, where Clinton won by 16 points, but her underlying strengths with certain groups remain. “I never said Trump was going to change any of his positions”, Manafort said on “Fox News Sunday”.
