Sexual assault is a serious issue in the military, and Conway is far from alone in believing that the military would risk compromising its standards if all positions opened to women. (The charges were ultimately dropped after his ex-wife did not show up in court.) And now, Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s campaign manager, is in the spotlight for making problematic comments about rape culture.
Conway replaced Paul Manafort, who resigned earlier this month as Trump’s campaign manager due to a reported clash in interests: Manafort, an anonymous source told Mic, had wanted Trump to be more careful with words. It is an utter fallacy that “rape would not exist” if women were as strong as men, because rape is not exclusively a physical struggle between a man and a physically weaker woman.
Suggesting that women are raped by men simply because they are unable to fight them off is unsafe rhetoric for rape victims.
Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway argued in 2013 that “rape would not exist” if women had the same physical strength as men.
Personally, I think the Democratic Coalition Against Trump hit the nail closer to the head when they said, “We can not have a reality show in the White House”.
Lizz Winstead, who founded Lady Parts Justice and Artists Against Trump, slammed the comments on The Daily Show.

“Most people who think like Donald Trump would only express their views in private, because they’re shameful”. Recently she has gotten Trump to cool down in his offensive rhetoric and say he regrets the things he said if they hurt anyone. “They seem to think it’s acceptable to blame rape victims for their assaults, deny women the right to control their own health care, and downplay sexual harassment in the workplace”.
