Trump campaign says he’s expected at Omaha airport rally
Nebraska’s GOP primary is Tuesday, with a prize of 36 national delegates. “By showing up today, you have demonstrated you want to chart a new course for our country”, Ricketts told the crowd in his introductory remarks for Trump.

No other family members plan to endorse Trump, a source familiar with the family told CNN.
Heineman says it’s time for Republicans to unite around Trump, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee.
Current Gov. Pete Ricketts has said he will support the party’s nominee. Trump warned the Ricketts family last February because of the anti-Trump efforts, saying, “be careful, they have a lot to hide”. The two played nice, sort of, with Trump sporadically needling Ricketts about his family throughout. He also owns the Chicago Cubs and Wrigley Field. The 40-minute impromptu speech featured Trump’s typical rambling and boastful style, and was largely subdued except for bursts when he took the stage and when he rallied the troops at the conclusion.
And say they think if he’s elected, those who oppose Trump will change their minds about him. Nebraska Republican Sen. Ben Sasse has been vocal about his disapproval of the presumed nominee, particularly this week. Apart from immigration and references to Hillary Clinton, Trump connected with his supporters most when putting down his Republican opponents, all of whom have dropped out of the race.
Former Gov. Dave Heineman has been chosen as Donald Trump’s honorary campaign chairman in Nebraska.
“My question to Donald trump is, why?”

Trump is going to win the Republican nomination “because he touched a nerve”, he said.
