Trump Campaign Says It Raised $80 Million in July

House Republican Richard Hanna of NY said it was “not enough to simply denounce his (Trump’s) comments”, and said he would support former Secretary of State Clinton instead. Phoenix-based OH Predictive Insights surveyed 996 likely voters on August 1 in a poll that included Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein.

The GOP candidate appeared to refer to his contentious plan to ban Muslims from entering the United States if he becomes president.

As Trump, the Republican nominee, faces falling poll numbers nationwide, that tumble is apparent in the states he needs most. Nearly two-in-three, 62 percent, of those who watched the DNC convention said they were more likely to vote for Clinton, compared to two-in-five, 40 percent, of those who watched the RNC convention said they were more likely to cast a ballot for Trump.

In New Hampshire, Clinton leads Trump 47 to 32 percent, according to a new WBUR poll.

When Fox polled voters in late June – before both conventions – Clinton was up only six points, 44% to 38%. Fifty percent are happy with Trump, while 49 percent would rather have someone else, the poll finds. Noting that other democratic societies had disappeared after a few hundred years in existence, she said those who don’t believe the United States could see a similar fate are being naïve.

“There are a couple things that would make any supporter of Hillary feel confident, one is that a significant part of the Republican Party in Colorado is a family values party, and they’ve always had some difficulty accepting Donald Trump as the party’s candidate”, said Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, adding that the businessman turned politician is also suffering with military voters in Colorado after his recent comments about the Khan family.

Trump feuded publicly with the family of deceased Army Capt. Humayun Khan after they criticized Trump’s anti-Muslim rhetoric. It’s the opposite for Trump: over half feel he is not qualified, and lacks the temperament or knowledge to lead the country.

Other polls conducted after the DNC convention released this week show Clinton ahead of Trump.

Clinton has enjoyed a bounce following her convention last week, and the Fox News survey shows one of the largest leads in general election polls yet. Of note: Clinton trails with independents by eight points, but gets 12 percent of the Republican vote to five percent of Democrats who say they’ll back Trump. Clinton leads with women by 23 points; Trump leads with men by five.
