Trump campaign: Tennessee GOP trying to unfairly appoint delegates
On Tuesday, just hours before his first campaign stop, two-term Gov. Scott Walker threw his support behind Cruz.

“This is the moment in the campaign where the candidates are defined”, he said.
The Herald reported yesterday Trump’s campaign has done little in MA to add supportive delegates who won’t split for other candidates after the first ballot. The others are Rick Perry, Carly Fiorina, Jeb Bush and Lindsey Graham.
However Trump, not known for sticking with one position on any given issue, later said: “The laws are set now on abortion and that’s the way they’re going to remain until they’re changed”. “Hillary Clinton is a conservative disguised by mildly social policies” he said.
“They took words out that I said”, Trump told the rally, implying CBS had edited his answer about keeping abortion laws as they are.
Support for both Cruz and Trump is fairly solid.
“I’m optimistic that the Republicans of our country will hear the message that the Trump voters are delivering but, in the end, pick a different standard-bearer”. Or maybe voters will warm up to Trump as they see more of him. “They don’t care about the Republican Party”, Haynes said. “His record is shutting down the government and making everybody he works with upset.” said Kasich. She said he is the only candidate who understands that “common sense is an endangered species in Washington”.
“As president, he’ll bring manufacturing jobs back home”, the former vice presidential candidate wrote.
The possibility of an open convention has riled Trump, who has repeatedly called out the RNC for treating him unfairly.
A majority (56%) of Republican registered voters say that disagreements within the GOP will keep many from supporting Trump as the party’s nominee, while just 38% say the party will solidly unite behind him, according to a new Pew Research Center report.
Even before he arrived, Trump was skewered in interviews with a trio of Wisconsin’s influential conservative talk radio hosts.
When fact checking Trump’s allegation that Cruz purchased the rights to Melania’s nude photo, it was also quickly debunked. Wisconsin awards 18 delegates to the statewide victor, and divides 24 delegates among the victor in each eight congressional districts.
Mrs Clinton, a former NY senator, holds a formidable lead among delegates but opponent Bernie Sanders hopes a series of recent victories in the West might turn into a springboard for a win in Wisconsin.

During a Thursday meeting at the Republican National Committee in Washington with Trump, chairman Reince Priebus addressed any confusion Trump may have had about delegate allocation rules that will govern the July convention, a source familiar with the meeting told Reuters.
